Significant Event Which Provided New Milestone for Development of Party and RevolutionToday, our Party is opening up an era of great change by leading the all-people advance for the comprehensive development of socialism to victory.It is because it held high the banner of great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and led the revolution and construction along the invariable course that our Party could achieve victories only and usher in the era of eye-opening creation and change despite the political and military upheavals of all kinds and harsh conditions of the world.Witnessing the proud reality, we recollect the historic days when the programme for modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism was declared to brightly illuminate the road ahead of the Juche revolution.In the beginning of the １９７０’s, the Juche idea was acknowledged as the current spirit of the times reflecting the aspiration and demands of the world progressive mankind.Chairman Kim Jong Il, who regarded it as his noble mission to scientifically formulate the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, had long made profound contemplation and earnest studies to this end, planned to newly define the supreme programme of our Party based on the revolutionary idea of the President and pushed ahead with the preparations in a solid manner.On February １９, １９７４, the Chairman solemnly declared the programme for modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism at the Third Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers’ Party of Korea.In the conclusion made at the conference, the Chairman taught that Kimilsungism is the integrated system of the Juche Idea and theories and methods of revolution and construction clarified by it.The historic conclusion of the Chairman who clearly indicated the essence, content, validity and vitality of the great idea and programme by profound theories and plain yet meaningful expressions grasped the participants by the heart.To model the whole society on Kimilsungism!It was a programme for making revolutionary struggle and construction work with Kimilsungism as the only guideline and for reforming man, society and nature in keeping with the requirements of Kimilsungism in order to occupy ideological and material fortresses of socialism and fully realize the independence of the popular masses.It was indeed the fruit of the loftiest thought which only the Chairman, brilliant thinker and theoretician, could make.The scientific formulation of the revolutionary idea of the President enabled our Party to add eternal luster to the revolutionary idea of the President and further intensify and develop onto a new high level the struggle for carrying forward and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche based on Kimilsungism.It made it possible for our people to more confidently advance the revolutionary cause of Juche with the clearest goal and bright blueprint.It is truly an everlasting achievement made by the Chairman before the Party and revolution to have formulated the revolutionary idea of the President as Kimilsungism and creditably embody it to the whole society.The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un formulated the revolutionary idea of the President and the Chairman as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and declared it the supreme programme of our Party to model the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, thereby clearly indicating the far-reaching strategy of our revolution.Modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the revolutionary inheritance and a fresh development of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism.Our people are more vigorously waging the struggle to model the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, firmly rallied behind the respected General Secretary.As we have the respected General Secretary, a peerlessly great man, the immortal revolutionary exploits of the Chairman will be handed down to posterity and our Party and revolution will dynamically advance along the single road of Juche indicated by Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
