A project is progressing apace in South Hwanghae Province to modernize the Haeju Paper Mill.
When the project is completed, it will mass-produce paper for various uses to contribute to improving the people’s living standard.
The amount of the project is huge but the province has set the goal for completing the project in a short span of time and organized the work in a scrupulous way.
In particular, it has put its main stress on building the factory into labour-saving, land-saving and energy-saving one and worked out designs anew. It pushes ahead with the project according to schedule while ensuring the necessary manpower and materials.
After finishing the wet construction of the production building and the housing construction of employees in a matter of a month, the builders buckled down to the construction of the raw materials dump.
They are increasing the operation rate of the building equipment including the mixer to the maximum and introducing rational building methods suited to the actual conditions, thus expanding the successes in the construction.
As the project progresses at a rapid speed, construction officials are making strong demands on them to observe the technical requirements arising in the work according to each process.
Meanwhile, the province has promoted the preparation for assembling equipment, the work for improving the technical skills of employees and supplying raw materials.
