The education sector is seething with the struggle to make a great leap forward in the education to carry out the decision of the １２th Plenary Meeting of the ８th Party Central Committee.
Preparations for carrying out the second universal １２-year compulsory education programme are briskly propelled amid high enthusiasm of the officials in the education sector and provincial, city and county officials and educators.
The officials of the relevant units of the Ministry of Education went to Songrim City, Jongphyong and Hoechang counties where the educational course according to the universal １２-year compulsory education programme is being applied to learn in detail about the situation and take necessary measures.
All provinces direct great efforts to preparations for enforcement of the above-said programme.
In close connection with the Ministry of Education, provinces of North Hwanghae, South Hamgyong, South Phyongan, North Phyongan and Jagang and other regions push forward with the work for comprehensively examining the educational contents and training teachers.
