Sol(pine) Islet in Sea Chilbo is situated in the sea waters off Pochon-ri of Myongchon County.

It is a beauty spot in Sea Chilbo near to Mt Chilbo, well known as "Hambuk Kumgang" from olden times.

Originally, it had been one islet. Through a long period of time, its gap has widened and become two islets.

There is a cave called as "dragon cave" halfway up Sol Islet.

A lot of pine trees as well as oak trees and maple trees grow there.

Sol Islet is of academic significance and it has a value of scenic beauty.
