The Pyongyang General Hospital opened in the DPRK on November 3. The medical workers and employees of the hospital are determined to devote themselves to ensuring that the great benevolence of the Workers' Party of Korea would lead to protecting the people's lives and promoting their health. On November 3, the hospital started the medical treatment of patients sent by the central-level hospitals. The patients were most grateful to the motherly Party, which values the lives of the people most, for its great love, while receiving the best medical services at the world-class hospital. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
