The Inpho Farm in Songnim City, North Hwanghae Province, reaped bumper crops.
The farm has increased the per-hectare grain output by more than one ton on an average this year by effectively disseminating science and technology, while raising the hot wind for studying science and technology and waging a competition for scientific farming.
The farm finished harvesting rice, carrying rice sheaves into threshing grounds and threshing rice in a short span of time.
A meeting for year-end account settlement and income distribution took place on the spot on November 9.
Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Myong Son, chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, and officials of Songnim City congratulated the farmers who achieved successes in implementing the Party's scientific farming-first policy.
