New houses have been built at the Sinwon Farm of Rangnim County, Jagang Province. A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot. Present there were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the county, builders and agricultural workers who would move into new houses. At the ceremony, an address was made and licences for the use of new houses were handed over to be followed by speeches. As moving into new houses began, the villages were filled with excitement and joy of the agricultural workers amid a cheerful dance party. Officials visited the owners who received new houses free of charge from the state and shared joy with them. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
