New houses have been built at Jajak and Yoksu farms of Jasong County in the northern part of the DPRK at a time when farmers in all parts of the country are moving into new houses. Hundreds of dwellings designed in diverse and unique ways to preserve the characteristics of the mountainous areas and provide agricultural workers with convenience are telling the great benevolence of the motherly Workers' Party of Korea which translates all the wishes of the people into brilliant reality. Present at a ceremony for moving into new houses were officials of Jagang Province and Jasong County, builders and the agricultural workers who would move into new houses. Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee, made a speech at the ceremony. Then the licences for using houses were handed over and speeches were made. Amid a congratulatory performance and cheerful dancing party, officials visited the new modern houses of the farmers to present them with daily necessities and share joy with them. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
