A Russian youth friendship visiting group led by Grigory Petushkov, chairman of the National Council of the Russian Association of Youth and Children, arrived in Pyongyang on October 17. It was greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by officials of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League and a member of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
