New villages were built at the Nongsadong Farm and the Hongam Farm of Taehongdan County in Ryanggang Province. Present at the ceremony of moving into new houses held on the spot were officials of the Party and power organs in Ryanggang Province and Taehongdan County, builders and agricultural workers. Kim Chol Nam, chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech and the licences for the use of houses were handed over. As moving into new houses began, a cheerful dance party was given and officials visited the new houses and congratulated their owners. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
