New houses built in Kim Jong Suk County of Ryanggang Province

New houses have been built at the Sinsang Farm and the Samso Farm in Kim Jong Suk County of Ryanggang Province. Amid the joy of the agricultural workers who became the owners of the new village built in harmony with the natural scenery on the bank of the River Amnok, a ceremony for moving into new houses took place. Present there were officials of the Party and power organs of the province and the county and builders. Kim Chol Nam, chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial People's Committee, made an address and licences for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches. A congratulatory performance was given and moving into the new houses began amid the playing of pleasant peasant music. Officials visited the families moving into the modern houses to congratulate them. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
