The 28th meeting of the Forestry Sub-Committee of the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology was held in Pyongyang on October 16. Present there were Han Yong Ho, chairman of the DPRK side to the Forestry Sub-Committee of the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, officials concerned, a forestry delegation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade led by Deputy Director Grigori Gusev, chairman of the Russian side to the Forestry Sub-Committee of the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, and a member of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang. The meeting reviewed the implementation of the protocol of the 27th meeting of the Forestry Sub-Committee and discussed the detailed matters arising in expanding and developing exchanges and cooperation in the forestry field. Then, the protocol of the 28th meeting of the Forestry Sub-Committee was signed. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
