The respectedComrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the General Association of Koreans in China on August 15 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation. The General Association of Koreans in China in the congratulatory letter extended the highest glory and warmest congratulations to the respectedComrade Kim Jong Un who is demonstrating the mightiness of Juche Korea to the world with his rare wisdom and outstanding leadership, paying the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung, the benevolent liberator of the Korean nation and founder of socialist Korea, with the boundless reverence of its officials and all Koreans in China. The letter lauded the exploits of President Kim Il Sung who accomplished the historic cause of national liberation and those of Chairman Kim Jong Il who defended the socialist motherland of Juche and the well-being of the people and said that Kim Jong Un is turning the DPRK into the most powerful country admired by the world and a socialist paradise where the people's dreams and ideals come true, true to the patriotic desire of the President and the Chairman. The letter wished Kim Jong Un, the great sun of Juche Korea and benevolent father of Koreans in China, good health, reflecting the unanimous desire of all Koreans in China. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
