The DPRK has many working people who devote themselves to the country and the people. They are boundlessly faithful to the country. They unhesitatingly take up any task if it is conducive to the country and struggle beyond their ability to accomplish it. They feel the greatest happiness and worth of life when their devotion and sacrifice serve as a stepping-stone for the harmony and advance of the collective and perform their duties excellently with infinite passion and sincerity, even though they may not be seen or appreciated by others, and try to do more work for the society and the collective of their own accord. Their noble outlook on life and devotion are becoming the models for the whole country. The country glorifies their merits like gems and puts them forward as meritorious persons of socialist patriotism. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
