Chairman of SPYL Central Committee meets leading members of Russian youth friendship visiting group

Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, met and had a friendly talk with leading members of the Russian youth friendship visiting group led by Grigory Petushkov, chairman of the National Council of the Russian Association of Youth and Children, who paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on October 17. Present there were Kim Song Il, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, and Aleksandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
