The respectedComrade Kim Jong Un received a letter of resolution from members of the delegation of Korean social scientists in Japan who took part in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the international seminar on the Juche idea on October 18. The letter said that participating in the international seminar on the Juche idea held in Pyongyang on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, they keenly realized once again that the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the banner of struggle of the progressive mankind to firmly defend the sovereignty and rights to existence and development of the countries and peoples and establish a just and equal international order in the face of the outrageous and extreme challenges and the one and only beacon of hope to them. Hearing the speeches made by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un at the events in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK, they could hardly repress their fascination with and admiration for his noble intention to guarantee the eternal existence of socialist Korea and its victory and development with the unprecedented and outstanding people-first politics and provide the beloved people with the highest civilization and all blessings to be envied by the people the world over, it noted. They would explain and prove in depth the truthfulness, originality and invincible vitality of the revolutionary ideas of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, give wide publicity to them and successfully fulfil the sacred mission to systematize the patriotic spirit created by the founding generation of Chongryon scientifically and theoretically and hand it over to posterity, the letter added. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
