Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met with leading members of the Russian economic delegation led by Alexandr Kozlov, minister of Natural Resources and Ecology who doubles as chairman of the Russian side to the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, who paid a courtesy call on him and had a talk with them in a friendly atmosphere at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on October 31. Present there were Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations who doubles as chairman of the DPRK side to the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, officials concerned and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
