The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on September 28 to criticize the restoration of sanctions against the country by the US and West. The UK, Germany and France eventually activated the system of restoring sanctions against Iran at the instigation of the US and brought back the expired UN sanctions, which the statement censured as illegal and ungrounded. Revealing that the countries openly violated international law and resolutions of the UN by supporting directly and indirectly the military aggression by the Zionist regime and the US against the peaceful nuclear facilities of Iran, the statement stressed that the attempt to restore the expired resolutions without any legal grounds can be neither justified nor tolerated in view of morality and logic. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
