The Venezuelan vice-president warned in his speech at an international forum on October 15 that the US is threatening world energy security. The US is committing aggressive acts against the leading oil producers, he said, disclosing that the recent military threat aimed at his country, too, is to plunder it of resources including oil and gas. He emphasized that if the US attacks Venezuela rich in oil resources, it will entail a serious energy problem. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper.
