The Kuryongphyong Dairy Cattle and Goat Farm in Hongui-dong, Sonbong District, Rason Municipality, has developed into a modern socialist villages. Built in the once secluded farm village in the northernmost part of the country were public buildings, including an office building, a general public service facility, a nursery, a kindergarten and a hostel, as well as more than 100 modern houses. These are the fruits of the far-reaching plan and wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea for creating a history of regional change and rejuvenation.
There took place an inauguration ceremony on the spot.
Present there were Sin Yong Chol, chief secretary of the Rason Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs in the municipality, builders and employees of the farm.
The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
