The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on December 6 that the West suffered enormous losses due to its unilateral sanctions.
The anti-Russia sanctions brought losses of about €1.6 trillion to the European economy in the period between 2022 and 2025, the ministry said, noting it has become clear that the unilateral sanctions measures of the West cause untold damage to their initiators.
Though Russia has been placed under the unprecedented economic pressure in recent years by Western countries, the country’s economy fully demonstrated its high stability and adaptability and continues to grow steadfastly, it added.
