China denounces G7 for interference in its internal affairs

A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry censured G7 for interfering in the internal affairs of China at a press conference on November 13. A recent G7 foreign ministerial meeting issued a joint statement designed to maliciously insult China while turning black into white and flagrantly interfere in its internal affairs. Answering a question put by a journalist as to this, the spokesman asserted that the Taiwan issue is a purely internal affair of China and that since how to solve the issue is the affair of the Chinese people, no outside interference is tolerable. He disclosed that it is a typical example of not discerning what is right and what is wrong that G7 picks on China while intentionally evading making a comment on the risk of nuclear proliferation entailed by US-UK-Australia security partnership. China strongly urges G7 to abandon the Cold War mentality and stop interfering in its internal affairs while saying this and that over the agenda item related to China, he emphasized.
