Thongsavanh Phomvihane, foreign minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and his party left Pyongyang on November 15 after visiting the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the invitation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry.
They were seen off by officials of the DPRK Foreign Ministry and the Lao ambassador to the DPRK and staff members of his embassy at Pyongyang International Airport.
The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
