The Pukchong County Fruit Processing Factory has undergone renovation.
The factory is furnished with hundreds of pieces of equipment and all its production lines are put on an automatic and streamlined basis. And it has an analysis room, general control room, sci-tech learning space and fruit storehouse.
An inauguration ceremony took place on November 25.
Present there were Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials and working people of the province and the county and employees of the factory.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round various places of the factory.
The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors. And the paper also provides a vast knowledge of the nooks and crannies of Pyongyang.
