Reception given for Lao Foreign Minister

The Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea hosted a reception on the evening of November 12 in honour of Thongsavanh Phomvihane, foreign minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on a visit to the DPRK. Present there at invitation were the party of the Lao foreign minister. Present there were Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui and other officials of the DPRK Foreign Ministry. The foreign ministers made speeches at the reception. The participants in the reception toasted the steady development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. The reception proceeded in a friendly atmosphere. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
