Floral tribute paid to PresidentKim Il Sungand ChairmanKim Jong Il

Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students laid flower baskets and bouquets before the statues of PresidentKim Il Sungand ChairmanKim Jong Ilin different parts of the country on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the demise of the Chairman. Placed at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were flower baskets in the name of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries and national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF) and institutions, enterprises and factories at all levels and universities in Pyongyang, and bouquets as well. The visitors paid homage to the President and the Chairman at their statues. Flower baskets in the name of units of the KPA and the PSF and institutions and enterprises were laid before the statues of the great leaders in various parts of Pyongyang, includingKim Il SungUniversity and the Mansudae Art Studio. Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students across the country visited the statues of the peerlessly great men in their residential areas to pay high tribute to them. The Pyongyang Times, launched on May 6, 1965, is the DPRK's only English newspaper. It gives latest, detailed information about what is going on in the country in politics, the economy, culture and other sectors.
