Flower baskets were sent to the statues of PresidentKim Il Sungand ChairmanKim Jong Ilon Mansu Hill in Pyongyang by the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan(Chongryon), the Standing Council of the Korean Federation of Workers in Commerce in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan and the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Students in Japan on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the demise ofKim Jong Il.
The flower baskets were laid before the statues of the great leaders on December 17.
On the same day, the art troupe of Korean schoolchildren in Japan headed by Ri Chol Su, principal of Toshun Korean Primary School, placed a flower basket before the statues of the great leaders.
